How We Handle Reverse Osmosis Systems

If you're not happy with how your tap water tastes, or you'd like more control over what's in it, a reverse osmosis (RO) system filters water through multiple stages before it reaches your glass. We test your water first, recommend a system that fits what we find, and install it cleanly.

The Lineup

What We Do

Under-Sink RO Installation

Compact systems for a dedicated drinking-water tap, installed leak-free.

Water Testing First

We test your water and recommend a system based on the results.

Custom System Selection

Under-sink or whole-home, matched to your water quality goals.

Filter Changes & Maintenance

Regular filter replacements keep the system performing.

Local Water

What's in Your Water Depends on Your Utility

In very hard water areas, a softener is often recommended ahead of an RO system to protect it. Water hardness varies by utility; see your community's page for local figures.

Our Approach

Look First. Explain Plainly. You Decide.

  1. We Look First

We find the actual cause, not just the symptom, so the fix holds up.

  2. We Explain It Plainly

We walk you through what we found and explain the estimate before we touch a wrench.

  3. You Make the Call

You choose what happens next. If waiting is the smart call, we'll tell you to wait.

Questions

Reverse Osmosis Systems FAQs

What does a reverse osmosis system remove?

RO systems reduce many common contaminants and improve taste. What a specific system removes depends on the model and its certifications, so we'll go over that for the system we recommend.

Do I still need a softener if I get RO?

They do different jobs. RO treats drinking water at one tap, while a softener treats hardness throughout the house. Some homes need both, and many need only one.
