Water Softener Installation
Whole-home softeners reduce the mineral buildup that wears on plumbing and appliances.
Water softeners, reverse osmosis and water testing, with an honest answer about whether your home actually needs treatment.
If your water leaves spots on dishes, builds up scale on fixtures or just doesn't taste right, treatment can help. We test your water, explain the results and recommend only what fits. That might be a whole-home softener, a reverse osmosis system for drinking water, or nothing at all.

Under-sink RO filtration for cleaner-tasting drinking and cooking water.
We check your water for hardness, chlorine and other issues, then explain what the results mean.
Scheduled filter replacements and system checks keep treatment equipment working as it should.
Water hardness varies by utility. Indiana American Water's 2025 report for its Noblesville system lists roughly 22 to 27 grains per gallon at its plants, well past the USGS "very hard" line of 10.5 gpg. Carmel Utilities softens its water at the plant, but its 2024 report still measured treated water averaging about 12 gpg across the system, so even there a test is the only way to know whether your home needs a softener.
We find the actual cause, not just the symptom, so the fix holds up.
We walk you through what we found and explain the estimate before we touch a wrench.
You choose what happens next. If waiting is the smart call, we'll tell you to wait.
Not always. It depends on your water, and that varies by utility and even by address. We'll test first and give you a straight answer, including when you don't need one.
A softener treats all the water in your home to reduce hardness minerals. A reverse osmosis system is usually installed at one tap to filter drinking and cooking water. Some homes benefit from both, and many need only one.
